Jasmine Jasmine is 2 year old, neutered female German Shepherd/Collie crossbreed . She was surrendered into the care of DAR because her owner was not allowed to keep her in rented accommodation. Jasmine is very nervous of most strangers, especially men, due to an incident when she was 3 months old, where she was beaten by burglars who broke into her home. As a result of this traumatic experience, Jasmine prefers women and would be happiest homed to a woman owner. Jasmine is very affectionate with those she trusts, loves to play games, and enjoys her walks. She is very obedient and travels very well in the car. She is a large dog and requires an owner with big dog experience and someone willing to do some socialisation with her, so that she can slowly learn that in most normal situations, there is nothing to be frightened of. Jasmine has never lived with children, so a home without children would be best. Jasmine is a very beautiful dog and deserves a chance for a happy life. Sally Sally is a lovely, female Belgian Shepherd, 4.5 years old, that is looking for a new home asap. She was surrendered by her owner because his property was not enclosed and Sally was worrying neighbouring sheep. She is a large dog, friendly, good with kids, good with other dogs, good in the car and has the potential to be a wonderful pet for someone. EMMY Emmy is a beautiful, friendly dog. German Shepherd/Setter cross, neutered. Ideally she would like to spend her days being trained and playing fetch but we cannot give her the playing, training and exercise she needs and she is becoming fed up and mischevious. She is highly trainable, so if you have experience with big dogs and time, with a kind but very strict owner she would be a lovely, highly intelligent pet. Not good with other dogs at the moment but if her new owner was patient in socialising her we know she would love to meet some canine playmates. Ben & Sam (Ben pictured) I am moving house shortly and have to be out of my current home by the 1st June 2008 and reluctantly need to find a new home home for my two dogs (both male) Sam and Ben. Sam is 9 years old Border Collie and I have had him since just after birth. He is great with children and prefers the outdoors. Beau This very handsome fellow is 2.5 years old. He is not a big Shep - very compact. Beau is a very confident, playful fellow who has grown up in a family with teenagers. He is looking for a home where he will be an integral part of the family. Beau does not like cats at all and would be better in a home as an only pet.
