[posted 28/10/07] Last Hope Animal Charity is a network of volunteers, most of whom work full time, but who give their time mainly in the evenings and at weekends to help foster, transport and care for stray or abandoned animals, keep our website up to date and operate the helpline.
We need someone that can co-ordinate us all!
We are looking for someone with the following skills:
- computer literate
- good telephone manner
- has a landline and broadband (phone expenses will be covered)
- is free during the day, perhaps (you are retired, or work from home?)
- good at coordinating/logistics e.g. keeping track of what animals are in our care, where, organising for them to be transported, collected etc.
As we are completely voluntary, unfortunately there is no salary, but we will be able to cover expenses e.g. phone call/internet bills etc. We do not have a fixed office, as we all work from our own homes, so the Co-ordinator would be working for their own home too, but would be dealing with people via the phone/internet/text.
Our volunteers are mainly based in Meath, but due to the nature of this job (i.e. being online/telephone) the Co-ordinator could be based anywhere, in Ireland.
