Uisneach Border Collie Rescue has rehomed some 100 dogs
between July 2000 and December 2001 to the continent,
mainly Germany, Switzerland, France, the Netherlands
and Austria. On the continent Collie dogs are much
respected andr egarded as a highly intelligent breed,
very adaptable, easy to train and work with.
We have placed dogs with various German Red Cross Search
and Rescue Dog units. One dog was placed in Austria with a
Mountain Rescue Unit. Some dogs have successfully trained
and competed in dog sports such as Agility, Obedience,
Freestyle Heelwork and Frisbee. Two of our dogs are 'therapy'
dogs with people who have personality problems. One of our dogs
lives in a flat in the middle of Munich and her family ...
Mucky and Molly, HER very own rabbits.
