Small Animals Looking For Homes Guinea Pig Rescue has closed, we currently have no animals up for adoption. However if you are looking to adopt a pet we might be able to put you in touch with one that needs a home and will occasionally foster guinea pig that may need a home. We will still offer advice on the care and housing of small animals especially guinea pigs, so if you have any questions about your small pet please contact us and we will do our best to help you. FINBAR Loving, friendly, fawn & white male lurcher. Finbar is good with other dogs, and adores being with people - to whom he gets attached very quickly. He has a scar down the length of his back which has now fully healed. This was as a result of household cleaning fluid being added to his skin. It is unknown whether it was deliberate cruelty, or a misguided belief that it could treat fleas, mites etc. Finbar is none the worse for his ordeal, and is a happy young boy. EMMY Emmy is a beautiful, friendly dog. German Shepherd/Setter cross, neutered. Ideally she would like to spend her days being trained and playing fetch but we cannot give her the playing, training and exercise she needs and she is becoming fed up and mischevious. She is highly trainable, so if you have experience with big dogs and time, with a kind but very strict owner she would be a lovely, highly intelligent pet. Not good with other dogs at the moment but if her new owner was patient in socialising her we know she would love to meet some canine playmates. SANDY&AMBER SANDY & AMBER both look the same and are sisters and the owner wants them to be homed together as they are litter mates and have always been together, they are very gentle girls who are affectionate and very people oriented, and they are clean in their kennel and very good on the lead. Sandy is a smiler and likes to hug people, but in a very gentle way and she is quiet and smooth, and good with children, she has never met non greyhounds though, so we don't know about her reaction to other breeds. Amber is a little nervous, and with strangers she's a bit shy at first, but as you can see from the picture she makes friends very quickly and likes to hug people, but in a very gentle way. They have never been around any animals other than Greyhounds so we have no idea what their reaction will be. They are Vaccinated, Spayed and Microchipped and have to be homed together!
